Overview
Archnews is a news app that aims to provide architects and architecture lovers with up-to-date news and information about the industry. The app is designed to be easy to use and visually appealing, providing users with a seamless experience that makes it easy to access news and stay informed.
Research
To begin the design process for Archnews, I conducted research to understand the needs and behaviors of architects and architecture enthusiasts. This included analyzing user data from existing news apps, conducting user surveys and interviews, and reviewing competitor apps. Based on this research, I identified key user needs, including easy navigation, filtering news by category, and the ability to save articles for later reading.
Design
Using the insights gained from the research phase, I began designing the Archnews app. I created wireframes and prototypes to test the app's usability and functionality. I paid special attention to the app's visual design, using a dark blue and white color palette to convey professionalism and sophistication. The final design includes a home screen displaying the latest news, a search function, and the ability to filter news by category. Users can also save articles for later reading and view their saved articles in a profile section.
